Texas Junior Invitational
2001 Results
The Texas Junior Invitational or TJI as it is referred to is a tournament for the top scholastic players in the state, regardless of their grade. Players earn an invitation to the TJI by winning one of the following state scholastic tournaments or meeting one of the following criteria:
Win the HS, MS, Elem or Primary Championship section at the State Scholastic in March.
Win 6th - 12th grade Championship at the State Grade Scholastic Championship in the Fall
Come in top 10 in the HS Championship section at the State Scholastic in March
Win one the HS regional championships held around the state in February.
Have a rating of 1600+
